Operations Specialist

 

ControlHub is a brand new startup trying to disrupt the B2B Procure-to-Pay space (which is basically the way companies buy and pay for stuff). We are a very small team of smart, no-bullshit, hard working entrepreneurs trying to create something big. We’re building our team and are seeking a full-stack software Engineer to join us full-time.

The founding team includes tech entrepreneurs and business leaders who have leveraged their backgrounds to build and scale multiple technology companies in both the United States as well as in Mexico. Learn more about our team here.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and execute purchases for our customers
  • Order & invoice processing: order creation, delivery receipts, invoice processing and accruals
  • Prepare weekly activity reports
  • Source new vendors
  • Maintain accurate records and files to ensure compliance
  • Assist vendors with issues, reports and filings
  • Work with customers and our tech team to resolve problems in a professional and timely manner
  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Process payments: check requests, Vendor Deposits and credit card payments
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies

What we seek

  • Bacherlos Degree is a must. Major in Accounting is a plus
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Proficient in Excel spreadsheets and data manipulation tools
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness required
  • Must be self-motivated with ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Effective problem solver
  • Must be assertive, flexible, and have a strong sense of urgency
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong desire to learn and to grow
  • Experience in an accounts payable role is a plus
  • Fluent in English
